DESCRIPTION:This reflective and participatory session explores grief\, ange
r\, and joy as three emotional realities of collective liminality. Through
  short teachings\, embodied reflection\, and conversation\, participants w
ill consider how these realities are experienced through the head\, heart\
, and body\, both individually and collectively.\nThe afternoon will deepe
n this exploration through integrative arts practices\, including watercol
our painting\, mandala-making\, and other creative invitations. No artisti
c experience is needed. The emphasis is not on producing finished artwork\
, but on using creativity as a way of listening\, expressing\, and making
space for what may be difficult to hold in words alone.\nTogether\, we wil
l explore how spiritual and creative practices can help us recognize\, giv
e space to\, and remain present with the emotional life of our communities
. The session offers space for thoughtful conversation\, creative expressi
on\, and practices that support presence\, connection\, and compassion whi
le living in the in-between.\nThere are 4 follow-up sessions with Carrie:
 Circle of Grace:\n Friday’s Oct 9\, 23\, 30\, and Nov 6 at 10:00 am \nF
 ee includes lunch\, snacks\, art supplies: $125\, $100\, $75\, $50\nPre-re
gistration is necessary so the necessary supplies can be ordered. Regsiter
at the link below\n\n\nFacilitated by Carrie Chesham and Herta Klassen\n

erta:  My artistic journey began in my mid-40’s when I least believed t
hat taking time to create was a worthwhile use of my time and attention an
d yet\, I was captured by the expression that watercolours allowed and the
depth of fulfillment that resonated deeply within. Since that time\, nat
ure has become my open air cathedral and inspires my creativity daily. I p
aint in watercolours and acrylics\, am mostly self taught\, and love shari
ng the potential of creativity within each of us in workshop settings. My
passion is rooted in the belief that I was created in love by Creator God
and his/her creative spark abides within each of us.\n \n
