A Retreat-Style Day Workshop, facilitated by Rev. Cameron Gutjahar.
All are invited to the morning workshop.
Facilitated by Rev. Cameron Gutjahr
Why are science and religion so often portrayed as being incompatible with one another, or even antagonistic? This is not the only way. At their best, they have much in common. Both can be disciplines that encourage curiosity, wonder and delight – spaces that are open for asking questions and exploring connection and relationship.
In the Spiritual Practice of Evolution & Ecology we will have a contemplative opportunity to explore how evolution and ecology can enhance and deepen our spiritual lives in a Christian framework.
Come learn about and delight in evolution and ecology, pray with phylogenetic trees, meditate with microscopic organisms, and reflect on the relationships that connect us to all living things, and ultimately, God.
Youth are invited for a special afternoon session with Cameron, same day, at 1-3pm.
