Harvest Thanksgiving Display & Donation

With joy we celebrate the Harvest Thanksgiving! Even in the midst of sorrow, we give thanks and praise God for God's love and presence that is always with us. Joanna Bravo spear-headed this beautiful project to surround the altar with the produce of many peoples' labor and then to bless Ruth and Naomi's Mission with food for their extensive food program where St. Thomas volunteers. The display was created in loving memory of Leslie Roach who would have participated again this year. We offered a Thanksgiving Litany with the children and youth bringing forward these gifts, the weekly offering, and the bread and wine for communion. We have much to be thankful for - amen!
