Gratitude to the Chilliwack Foundation

With GREAT GRATITUDE we thank the Chilliwack Foundation for approving and donating a grant to St. Thomas for $8,073.43 to be used for fire-safe landscaping, a vacuum for the church, and knives, pots and pans for the kitchen! Many applicants do not receive the full amount requested, but they were pleased to do so for St. Thomas. This was accomplished due to the diligent and thoughtful leadership of Jeff Tisdale, St. Thomas’ Treasurer, who presented a wonderful proposal on the community life and vitality of the inter-generational and inclusive parish and the need to continue to steward the historic building and expansive ministries that are thriving. And thanks to the Parish Council of St Thomas for their dreams, listening, service, and support for the good life and work of the parish. With great joy and thanksgiving we celebrate the generosity of the Chilliwack Foundation leadership and all the donors.
